I am a retired computer programmer/analyst who love reading, writing, playing classical piano and organ music, and visiting with children and grandchildren.

I was born and raised near Salt Lake City, Utah, graduated from Brigham Young University, and earned an MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology. I spent three years in the United States Army, serving in West Germany. I have lived in the Chicagoland area for over 45 years, so yes, Virginia, I am a Cubs Fan.

I spent 40 years as a programmer, analyst, project leader, and financial analyst. Since retirement in 2013, I spent 23 months with my wife in Nicaragua, serving as church service missionaries. We taught leadership, piano, English, literacy, temple preparation, and many other things.

My wife and I have four married children and 14 grandchildren.
